Job Description: Business Development Director

Department: Sales and Marketing

Reports To: President, Grove Premium Finance

Summary:

The Business Development Director is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth for Grove Premium Finance. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with insurance agents and brokers, and promoting the benefits of premium financing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, a strong understanding of the insurance industry, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with insurance agents, brokers, and businesses.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance industry.

  • Promote the benefits of premium financing to potential clients.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.

  • Negotiate and close deals.

  • Represent Grove Premium Finance at industry events and conferences.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Provide market feedback and insights to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.

  • Strong understanding of premium financing and the insurance market.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
